Reinhard Hagen
German bass Reinhard Hagen’s recent appearances include Der Haushofmeister Capriccio (C: Alexander Soddy) at Edinburgh Festival, Titurel Parsifal at Paris Opera (C: Simone Young) and with Bergen Philharmonic (C: Edward Gardner), his signature role Sarastro Die Zauberflöte at Opera de Oviedo, and Kuno Der Freischütz at Staatsoper unter den Linden.
Highly experienced with a career in major opera theatres world-wide, Mr Hagen was appointed a Kammersinger in 2010 while a member of the principal ensemble at Deutsche Oper Berlin. His numerous roles there include Sarastro Die Zauberflöte, Pogner Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, Landgraf Tannhäuser, König Heinrich Lohengrin, Daland Der fliegende Holländer, Fasolt and Hunding Der Ring des Nibelungen, Kaspar Der Freischütz, Ramfis Aida, Commendatore Don Giovanni, Raimondo Lucia di Lammermoor, Ferrando Il Trovatore, Timur Turandot, Walter Luisa Miller, Marcel Les Huguenots, Frere Laurent Romeo et Juliette, Arkel Pelleas et Melisande, Gremin Eugene Onegin, and Rocco Fidelio among many other roles.
